Our house is located on the family farm which is leased at the moment. It is a colonial style house built 150 years old ago with lots of character. We are 15 min away from Kerikeri and 25 min from Paihia. We live in a friendly community with good neighboors. Tom the cat is quite affectionate but independant, he lives outside at night. We also have 3 friendly sheep. I like to hand feed them sheep pellets to check on them. In the garden the lawn will need to be mowed and we have a vege patch that you will be able to harvest.
Amazing location with lots of native farm and trees to take Bruce the retired farm dog for walks. Tom the cat will reward your stay with many a caught rodent - fantastic hunter! Alex is a hospitable host and very welcoming. We much appreciated the chance to house-sit.
