The duration of the house sitting is approx 6 -7 weeks. 14th Sept 2024 - 30th Oct 2024 approx. We hope to leave on the 16th Sept so weekend to show you around. The house has a granny flat (1 bedroom) attached to the end of the garage. Key pad entry. New home (2yrs). Full kitchen - fully furnished. Solar hot water. However no washing machine. Great laundromats in town. 10 mins to Hamilton East. 7 mins to Camridge. 1 old cat outside mostly but ok to have inside. 15 chickens (3 old girls) 12 are laying so heaps of eggs to eat/bake and give away. Feed and water checks every day. Collect eggs let out to roam in the afternoon lock back in at night. 9 Arapawa sheep at present but they have a ram with them so expecting more lambs in June/July. Feed nuts and check water. Lawn mowing (push mower) small amount around the vege garden and empty catcher over the fence for the sheepp. We will ask a family member to do the larger area around the house on the rideon. We are still planning the trip at present and nothing is finalized. Just getting a feel for who may be interested. Would suit a mature couple or 1 single mature person who has small block knowledge.
