Hey there!

We're Jannik and Wencke, a duo from Rostock, Germany, currently having an awesome time exploring New Zealand.

Jannik just finished his Master Thesis and is currently looking for a job in Christchurch, while I (Wencke) work in Online Marketing, operating comfortably from our self-converted van. It's not just about Housesitting for us; it's about creating a cozy, pet-friendly space wherever our van takes us.

Jannik practically grew up with dogs, and I've always had cats in our family – from tiny kittens to wise old felines. Most of the cats we saved from the Street or the Shelter. We'll likely become a bit attached to your pets, making saying goodbye a challenge for us. As we get acquainted, we plan to capture every sweet pet moment through photos and videos, gladly sharing the cutest snapshots with you. This way, you can relax, knowing your furry friends are in good hands.

Our journey into Housesitting began in 2017 in Australia, where our first experience involved caring for two lovely cats. When we arrived in New Zealand, the desire to Housesit remained strong. Since then, we've had the pleasure of looking after cats on two separate occasions.

Plus, we're not just about the four-legged friends – we're more than happy to give some green love to your garden and plants.
