Kia ora, I'm Staci.
Since my two grown children left home over three years ago I've been creating my "designer life" around the many things I love to do.

I'm lucky enough to have a flexible job where I work offshore for a couple of months at a time. In between contracts I wander around NZ in my small campervan and try to spend 5-6 months a year overseas. I'm all about slow travel and really getting to know a place, it's people and culture.

The downside of this lifestyle is that I really miss having pets and that's where housesitting comes into it. I have been housesitting for many years in NZ and overseas since before I'd even heard it was a thing. I love getting to know all the different critters' personalities and often spend hours trying to get the perfect selfie of them giving me kisses!

Housesitting is also my chance to stop and catch my breath, so I tend to spend a lot of time at home catching up on life admin, reading and working on my online passion projects.

Critters I've gotten to know - dogs, cats, fish, birds, mice, rats, guinea pigs, sheep, chickens, ducks.

Couldn't ask for a more wonderful person to have in your home and looking after your fur babies. Staci is so great at communicating and has been such a god send at such a difficult time while we are sorting out my mother going into full time care. To know mum's dogs and bird were so well loved and cared for while we were able to look after mums needs has been fabulous.
