Víctor Gonzalez & Cristina Avia

Hello everyone! We are Víctor and Cristina from Picanya, a small town in Spain. We are animal lovers and have a 1 year and 4 month old dachshund named Buster.

We traveled to New Zealand for a year to work and would love to be able to share this animal care experience so we can see many locations across the country. Buster is not traveling with us.

We are a young, hard-working, responsible couple who loves to travel and go out a lot with our dog for long walks.

Before this experience we have worked at House Sitting in Iceland in the summer of 2022 where we take care of a small cat called Dobby. The experience was really good and we want to repeat it in New Zealand. If you are interested, you can ask us for the recommendation that our Icelandic friends gave us.

Victor have also worked as a volunteer with turtles in Costa Rica in the summer of 2015. We stood guard at night to take care of the eggs and protect them from predators. In case they were born, we had to take the turtles to the sea so that they could begin their lives.
