Hi we are Tracy and Mike
We are experienced pet sitters and available for opportunities to house or pet sit in your part of the country.
We both come from a background of 10+ years working for Government departments (Mike in Corrections and myself in Ministry of Social Development) but decided to call it quits, retire early and in July 2022 left NZ to travel the world!
We own property in NZ and are very house proud people. Having renovated and managed property Mike is also quite the handyman and capable of dealing with most home issues that may arise.
We both currently work part time online teaching English to Foreign learners. We love that this keeps us connected to people from many walks of life and other cultures we can learn about. This also means we can spend more time in your home keeping your pets company and your home "lived in" to deter any undesirable attention.
We really enjoy animals and have always owned cats and dogs (plus farm animals during our prior years of employment). We pet sit full-time currently and love to explore new area's and new experiences.
We have worked hard during our lives and raised 5 beautiful kids who are now independent (whew!) and now have four delightful grandchildren.

We are honest, reliable and quiet living people. We enjoy movies, Youtube, reading, travelling and time with family.

Tracy and Mike did a wonderful job of taking care of our house and animals (dog and chickens) while we were away. Our houseplants and garden were all watered and the house was very clean and tidy when we got home. WE really appreciated their care and would recommend them highly.

Tracy and Mike looked after Harry and Puss very well. I came home to a sparkly clean house with extra things done, so I could just relax on my return. I did appreciate all they did and would definitely recommend them to any prospective home and pet owners thinking of asking Tracy and Mike to sit for them. Friendly and easy to communicate with as well.

Tracy & Mike are a lovely friendly couple who looked after our home and our 2 miniature schnauzer girls. They communicated well prior to the sit. They listened to all our instructions and asked any questions. They walked our girls each day and watered our plants. The house was clean and tidy when we came home. We would definitely recommend them as housesitters for your home.

Tracy and Mike took fantastic care of our house and dogs. I received regular updates including pics and videos of the dogs loving life with them. I returned to a tidy house and happy dogs. I would definitely recommend them and will happily use them again in the future.

Tracy and Mike did a great job looking after our home and our dog Hamish. They were friendly and easy communicate with in the lead up to the sit and kept in touch with updates while we were away.
