Maxx & Summer

We care about animal rights, mental health, and the environment. Whenever there is a chance before us, we love getting close to animals. As a mature and responsible couple, we know how to care for your home as if it were our own and ensure your companion animals receive all the love and attention they need. Maxx grew up with a few small doggies (Summer loves them so much), while Summer always wants to become a pet owner one day. For us, housesitting is the best way to meet new animal friends, experience different lifestyles, and connect with locals. We are ready to provide your little family members with love, cuddling, and exercise whenever necessary!

Background about us:

In 2019, we spent a year in New Zealand, working and travelling in various parts of this beautiful country. During our time as WWOOFers, we stayed with a family in Kumeroa for a week, assisting them with gardening and caring for their dogs and a cow. Additionally, we spent a year in Canada, studying and working, and have stayed in numerous places worldwide with consistently positive reviews on Airbnb. Now we are planning to stay in New Zealand for the next few years!

As a couple, we consistently work as a team on our shared projects. One of our previous endeavours includes managing an Instagram page where we shared our journey as vegetarians and promoted meat-free diets. Currently, we run a YouTube channel producing original guided meditations. These experiences enhanced our ability to work seamlessly as a team, allowing us to flexibly cater to different needs and situations, using our distinct strengths and perspectives. Rest assured, your home and pets will be in good hands.

*By the way, Maxx is a lawyer giving advice remotely to clients based in Hong Kong while taking a break from his Master's Degree in Wellington. Summer is busy drawing for our YouTube channel and diving into her soy wax candles project. We are currently staying in Lower Hutt.
