Sydney & Jacob

Hello!

We are Sydney and Jacob from Seattle! We will be traveling through New Zealand from August 2024 until May 2025.

We are very excited to meet new people and explore the islands. At home we enjoy cooking and baking, spending time in nature, and exploring the area around us. In the States, I (Sydney) work as an Administrative Assistant for a foreign Consulate, and Jacob works as a University Admissions Counselor for Western Washington University.

We are very tidy, quiet, and laid back. We love animals, and while we have refrained from adopting at home (due to our long term travel), we both come from families with animals and are accustomed to the responsibilities of pet care-taking.

We will be buying a van in New Zealand to support our travels, and hope to housesit occasionally to expand the options available for us to see more of the country (and for a place to shower outside of the van-time).
