Hi there,
we are Rieke and Julian, a young couple from Germany. For the next 6 months we are traveling trough New Zealand. Both of us are organized, non-smokers and we know how to keep the house clean and tidy. Besides Work Rieke likes to be outside, both hiking and simple walks and Julian loves to cook.

At home we have two five year old Australian Shepherds and four cats. Apart from that we took care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits from friends and familie, during their vacations. In addition, we have expiriences with puppys and kitten.

Because of Riekes occupation as an Vet tech, it wouldn't be a problem to take care of older pets, especially if they need medication.

In generell we have a Work and Travel Visa. But in the moment we have enough savings, so we don't need to work and could take care of your pets the whole day.

We signed in here, because we love to be around pets, and we think house sitting is a good way to see a side of the country apart from the tourism.

Julian and Rieke were a lovely couple who cared for our ten month old vizsla puppy while we were overseas for two weeks. They clearly gave him the right attention and love as he was very happy upon our return. They gave us regular updates and left the house extremely clean and tidy. Shame they’re leaving NZ soon!!

Julian and Rieke were wonderful Housesitter’s great communication and pre-meet with them was so helpful Rōha just adored them and we wish them both a great adventure in Aotearoa

Rieke and Julian were up there with the best sitters we've had, they looked after our 2 cats and 8 alpacas. My cats are my children so I do find it hard picking a sitter, but when they messaged me I knew I'd have nothing to worry about! Communication was excellent, and if they weren't sure about something they would message. When we arrived home, the cats couldn't care less that we were there, so that tells me they were so well looked after. The alpacas were also pretty happy too. The house ... MORE
