  • I grew up on a dairy farm and helped my parents out with milking cows, moving stock, etc. I have also done 3 seasons of calf rearing, working with the farm dogs, calves, and assisting with the care of their family pets. My parents have since moved to a lifestyle block where I lived for a period of time, assisting with stock work with both sheep and cows/calves, feeding chooks, ducks, dogs, cats, fish and birds in an aviary.

Hi, I'm Courtney, it's lovely to meet you! I have been house/pet sitting professionally since July 2022, with experience assisting friends and family looking after their homes and pets prior to that.

Over the past year, I've had the privilege of caring for a diverse range of pets and homes, each with their own unique needs and quirks. I have experience looking after cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, fish and even a variety of farm animals such as cows, sheep and goats.

While my career has been in the finance and administration field, I grew up on a dairy farm, and have also done 3 seasons of calf rearing, working with the farm dogs, calves, and assisting with the care of their family pets which consist of cats, dogs and birds. I currently work remotely so have the flexibility to travel around.

I love being around animals, giving them each the attention and care they need and require, just as much as I receive the love and care from them. From cuddles and playtime, to ensuring they receive their food/water and have the required toilet breaks they need in a day, or if their toilet is inside then making sure it is kept clean and tidy every day.

While I do have some written testimonials on this site, previous clients have expressed satisfaction with the care provided, noting their pets feel secure and loved. This positive feedback has resulted in repeat bookings.

During your time away I like to keep in regular contact via text, Messenger or WhatsApp with a brief update and photos of your beloved pets.

Where possible it's nice to meet with the homeowner and pet/s in person, or via Messenger, WhatsApp etc. prior to the house sit.

One word - awesome. Courtney looked after our two dogs, who unfortunately at the beginning of the sit had tummy upsets, with all the TLC you could ask for. Including a trip to the vet. . Heaps of communication and photos putting my mind at rest. The house on our return was immaculate. A very warm and caring person we hit it off right from the start.
