Hello!

I’m Rebecca, a 30 year old secondary school teacher from Scotland.

I’m visiting New Zealand on a working holiday visa and I’m aiming to travel around and see as much of the country as I can. I would love to look after your home and animals while you take your own trip.

I started my trip in the North Island and I am currently still there. However, I am moving to the South Island at the start of June - hence the preferred locations listed.

I'm a responsible, tidy, and caring person, and I haven’t met an animal I didn’t love but I have particular experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, sheep, and horses.

I’m new to this site but have previous experience of house and pet sitting for my parents, who travel regularly and have a Golden Retriever German Shepard cross rescue (large and strong, and reactive to other dogs) and two cats. I also have other animal care experience from assisting on my grandparents’ sheep farm and from horse riding in my youth.

I would also be more than happy to look after your indoor and/or outdoor garden too. I have experience of mowing and strimming grass, watering, potting and planting, mulching, pruning, harvesting fruits and veg, and weeding.
