I am a mature, vibrant women who has always been a bit of a gypsy. Having lived in Asia and Australia for the past 20 + years I returned two years ago to my homeland. I'm not quite ready to put down roots yet and have been house-sitting as I re-discover this beautiful land.

I am a big lover of nature and the bounty of creatures that inhabit it. I find myself somewhat of an animal whisperer. It's rare that I don't find a connection. I work remotely in education and I background in arts and wellbeing.

I live quietly and value authenticity, so you can trust that I will take care of your beloved pets, your plants and your home.

I am presently available in the Auckland area until June 8. I am presently not taking bookings past this.

We were very pleased when Rochelle agreed to be our housesitter. She is a mature. caring woman who looked after our home and spoiled cat extremely well. It was a pleasure to return to an immaculate house and and a very happy cat. Rochelle is also an excellent communicator. She shared many photos, anecdotes and messages about that spoiled animal and also provided us with detailed information and indeed photos of packages which arrived unexpectedly promptly at our address. Rochelle’s lovely kind nature and wonderful communication really enabled us to be totally relaxed about being away for so long knowing that everything was being well taken care of, and indeed it was! Rochelle was amazing. Our very elderly cat was happier than he’s ever been when we came home. Rochelle took excellent care of him. I really appreciated Rochelle’s great communication, she checked in a few times each day, which was awesome. Would definitely recommend Rochelle!

Rochelle was a brilliant house and cat sitter. She was great at communicating with us with just the right amount of information about how things were going at home. The house was left spotless and she even wrestled with the neurotic lawnmower so we came back to a tidy lawn which was a real treat and much appreciated. Our fussy cats had clearly been very well cared for and were relaxed and happy. Would love to have Rochelle housesit again and could not recommend her more highly.

The best petsitter ever! Rochelle is a wonderfully warm, caring person and just loved our kitties the way we do! Rochelle kept me up to date with messages and photos, and is the only pet sitter that our shy, rescue cats have ever warmed up to! We came home to cats that were very relaxed; as well as a clean house and even some freshly baked bread, milk & butter! Rochelle was Absolutely amazing! The animals were happy, healthy and well loved, the house was immaculate on our return, with muffins waiting. Rochelle also had to deal with Auckland flooding, she cleaned up the water and dealt with no power and water like a legend. Her communication was fantastic and the videos of our pets made us smile while away. Best housesitter ever!

The cats seemed content and chilled and the house was neat and tidy on our return. Rochelle let us know how the cats were going every day and communication was quick and easy. Rochelle looked after our house and elderly dog & cat for 6 days. Rochelle is a super lovely person. Excellent communication, our house was spotless on our return and our pets were very well looked after & loved. She also sent us lovely updates on our pets. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter, highly recommend.
