Kia ora!
Cat: we are looking for (preferably long) house sits in Wellington which is where our work and study are based. I am a student in my final semester which finishes up in early June, and I attend campus just 3 days a week but mostly study from home. This means I am often around home to keep your animals company.
I'm an animal lover who has plenty of experience caring for animals. I spent 1.5 years living on an animal sanctuary where I took care of dogs, cats, hens, roosters, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, and more. I have also had pets on and off throughout my life including dogs and cats fostered from shelters and animal rescue organisations.
I have house sat a lot - particularly in Melbourne where I house sat frequently during 2016 - 2019. I have also been the go-to house sitter for many friends, family members, and acquaintances here in NZ and abroad over the years. Most recently Garrett and I have house sat in Wellington for the past 18 months.
Garrett is also studying full-time, but only attends campus once per week meaning that between us someone is almost always home. He is originally from New York. Like me Garrett is also an animal lover and has volunteered on an animal sanctuary working with domestic and farmed animals such as chooks, as well as having grown up with dogs.
We are respectful, reliable homebodies who will leave your house spotless, and of course take great care of your pets while you're away. We can both drive and have a car which could be used for any vet trips etc. if the need arose.
We hope to hear from you.
