A secondary school teacher most of my life, having lived in five different countries. I own my own home in the Waikato and have a much adored ragdoll cat. With independent adult twin children (living in Auckland and Sydney), I can now get away for extended breaks to spend time with family/friends and just explore, both within New Zealand and overseas. Definitely a non-smoker but enjoy an occasional glass of wine in the evening. I grew up on a Waikato farm, so am comfortable with a range of animals and am practical and resourceful. I will follow instructions to the letter, am trustworthy and will care for your pet/s and your home, as if they are my own. From January to September 2024 I am based in the UK (Henley-on-Thames). While there, although not house/pet sitting, I have been helping care for the family dog Indie, a beautiful red-fox Labrador.
