My father was a farmer near Timaru when I was a young fella. Too young to remember a lot except respect for big machines, always close the gate and care for animals is the number one priority. Worked in the mines in Oz and drove small trucks, big trucks and forklifts. Spent 2 months on a farm in Israel and drove tractors regularly. Recently cared for Angora goats near Oxford. I've also watched Country Calendar for most of my life! I'm currently caring for a couple of miniature horses (March).
