We are trusted full time house sitters in North Shore, Auckland & Christchurch.

We are a mature professional couple in our 60s (no kids/grandkids). We've used Kiwi Housesitters to look after our dogs when we travelled in the past.

We are non-smokers, considerate, live a quiet life (happy to sit at home and watch TV or read most nights) and promise to take very good care of your home while you're away. We adore animals and would love to look after your small pets. We allowed pets to sleep on our bed.

We had dogs for over 20 years but unfortunately lost our last two (Chopper 12 and Celeste 15) in 2018. We've also had plenty of experience caring for cats as well. We're hoping that house-sitting will give us a chance to reconnect with pets before we decide to have our own again.

We are both fully retired. Over the years we have been homeowner, business owner, landlord and tenant - and always treat a property with the same TLC and respect whether it belongs to ourselves or someone else.

And if you don't have a pet, we can simply look after your garden or the security of your home.

We like to stay fit and healthy and our hobbies include going for long walks and playing outdoor bowls. We plan to travel extensively in the years ahead and thought that house sitting would be a good option in between our travels.

We have our own mobile internet/wi-fi, laptop and other personal items. We bring our own consumables - food, toiletries and cleaning stuff.

Maxe loves to clean - you won't be disappointed in the state of your house when you return home from your trip.

Please note that we have 2 cars - we will need a free on/off street parking 24/7.

Charges per day may apply depends what type / size of pets.

We are both vaccinated and can provide references and clean criminal records.

Maxe and John, are the best pet sitters we could have ever hoped for. They are kind and very respectful. They totally understood our dogs temperament and were very caring when he got sick. Their communication was great, we were kept up to date with vets visits. Our dog was walked regularly and extremely well looked after. Max and John took really good care of our boy Kenzo while we were away for 3 weeks. They kept us informed of everything while we were away, which gave us peace of mind. Kenzo certainly loved all the walks and care they provided. Highly recommend! Thanks again Max and John!

There primarily questionnaire was very detailed and professional which helped for day to day running of our house. Overall we would love to have them back for future house sitting.
