Hi everyone!
We are Gilliane and Evgeny, a responsible and friendly international couple permanently living in New Zealand. We are huge animal lovers, tidy, reliable and professional house sitters, who enjoy travelling and exploring new destinations.
Evgeny works in the film and entertainment industry and Gilliane is studying to become an Occupational Therapist.
Gilliane: "I learned how to care for pets while volunteering at an animal shelter in my spare time assessing pets' behaviour by walking dogs, and caring for abandoned cats, for instance. Back in 2016, I spent a year woofing, farm-sitting and travelling throughout New Zealand. I hold a Pet First Aid Certificate, so your fur companions are always in safe hands in case of an emergency."
Evgeny: "I have extensive experience caring for pets of all kinds, including those with special needs. Gilliane and I love slow travel, and having furry friends always adds a homey feel to the place we stay; besides, Gilliane says that I'm a cat magnet!"

AAAAA++++++ Sitters - We can't say enough to recommend this couple. Gilliane and Evgeny were the most fantastic house sitters. They were caring, honest, friendly and super tidy. We have already recommended them to friends and family, via the Kiwi House Sitter website. Having never had a house sitter before that we didn't know we were a bit nervous, but were truly thrilled with the Kiwi House Sitter platform and these two fantastic sitters. I was so impressed with how immaculate the house and car were on my return, and with how settled and happy my cat was. Evgeny came down the night before the sit to meet me and Smokey and to get used to the house, and stayed in frequent contact while I was away.
I would be delighted to invite Evgeny and Gilliane to house sit for me again, and would recommend them to anyone else.

We are so happy with Gilliane and Evgeny, they have been wonderful to deal with, we came home to not only a super tidy house but also two very happy Cats. A real surprise was a couple of beautiful photos of our cats and a welcome home gift for us. We would love to get them back.

Gilliane and Evgeny are amazing housesitters. They were happy to meet me a few weeks before the housesit, they followed the instructions for our cats speciality diet in detail, the house was immaculate on our return and they sent regular updates with photos of them having cuddles with our most timid cat. I would not hesitate to recommend them to other home & pet owners and would love to have them housesit for us again in the future. Thanks again.

Gilliane & Evgeny were fabulous house sitters and would highly recommend. They took great care of our cats and sent us updates throughout the sit. When we returned home, the house was left immaculate and all their laundry folded and dried. Communication was responsive and we really loved meeting them both! Would absolutely have them housesit again for us.

Gilliane was fantastic. Great communication throughout the stay and lots of updates on Chewy and Jeff. She gave us no concerns at all which is what we wanted. When we got home the house was clean and tidy. Gilliane clearly understands the responsibility and trust we had in her and we were never let down. Couldn't recommend highly enough (except when we want her to house sit again!) thanks for everything Gilliane, you were brilliant.

Gilliane came to look after our two Siamese cats and water our plants while we were away for a week.
Communication was excellent and she did a marvellous job looking after our cats. We appreciated the regular updates and photos.
The house and cats were in good shape when we returned and she even left us a Xmas gift, which was very sweet of her.
I would be very happy to recommend her for any house sitting post, or have her look after the cats again. Thank you so much Gilliane!

Apart from the written instructions, I don't recall you showing me how to water your plants properly. Will be more careful in the future for sure.
Gilliane and Evigny we're superb house and cat sitters while we were away. They were able to cope with 5 house cats, and even tamed our scaredy cat Keifer, who avoids everyone except us.
The house was pristine and had been vacuumed, tidied and laundry washed.
They are hopefully our new permanent cat sitters!!!

Gilliane and Evgeny were such fantastic house sitters. We were a little nervous as it was our first time using sitters but they could not have been better. They took such great care of our dog and left the house spotless.

This was our first experience with KHS and it could not have been more perfect! Evgeny took fabulous care of our dog Edie, and of our house for the month he stayed this winter. He is a great communicator. He sent us lots of messages and pics of Edie. He also took her to a scheduled Vet appointment which was very helpful. The house looked wonderful on our return—I think even better than when we left! Edie was obviously very well taken care of while we were away. Evgeny is very ... Gilliane and Evgeny were lovely! They looked after the pets really well and were not thrown by last minute ear drops needed for the dog. I found them really relaxed, easy to chat to and couldn't have been more happy with them house sitting for us. Excellent Comms while we were away also.

They made every effort to meet oreo beforehand and on arrival home I could tell oreo was very well looked after and had been shown lots of affection. Gilliane and Evgeny will be my first choice to house sit again in future.

Gilliane and Evgeny are a lovely couple who arrived the night before (at our request) so they could meet the animals and look around the farm. Our dog was very well looked after and we got lots of photos of him during the week. The house was clean and tidy on our arrival home which was wonderful. Absolutely would recommend them. They took over from another housesitter who had to go to another booking, after I extended my holiday. Inviting strangers into your home is a scary thought but we really lucked out our first time with these two! I didnt worry or stress out while we were away and everything was perfect when we got home. They had some complicated instructions looking after our many pets and they nailed it.

Absolutely wonderful housesitters! They took great care of two furbies and their quirky habits while we were away with ease. We got lots of pictures and updates too and the house was spotless when we returned. They even accommodated our travel plans by vacating the house for 1 day in-between when we came home while transitioning onto our next destination. I would have no concerns in recommending Gilliane & Evgeny as housesitters and would love for them to sit for us in the future!
