we are a couple in our early 30s. We decide to take a break from our professional careers and travel the world for a while, so now currently we’re here in New Zealand with a Working Holiday Visa for 12 months.

We are both animal lovers, especially cats. We have two cats in home (Maya and Pepe, full indoor cats) and we are willing to take care of one because we miss our pets back home, so we would enjoy houses with animals a lot.

We are very friendly, respectful, hard workers, easy going, quiet, clean, organised, non-smokers.
We will be happy to take care of your home. It would also be a great opportunity for us to save some money for further travel.

We love adventure and being amongst peaceful surroundings, and we enjoy the simple things in life, like a cup of tea and the purr of a kitties.

Maca and Marcelo were the best pet and house sitters I could have asked for. They looked after our 2 cats and house for 4 weeks during May, keeping in frequent contact with updates and pictures, and left the place spotless. They were also incredibly accommodating in extending the sit for a couple of days when my return travel got disrupted. Would love to have them again should we go away and highly recommend. Thanks both!

Maca and Marcelo were excellent house sitters and lovely people. They communicated with us before and during the house sit and did a fantastic job of looking after our animals and house.

Maca & Marcelo were fantastic house sitters. They looked after our vegetable garden in the hot summer as requested, and the cats absolutely loved them. Even our super-shy cat let them pat her. We got daily photos and updates on how they were doing. We have 3 chickens and 1 of them needed extra care and Maca & Marcelo happily did this for us. When we returned, the sheets were on the line and the house was immaculate. Highly recommend this couple. Thank you.

Maca and Marcelo were perfect house sitters. My cat was well cared for and very happy. They sent us photos while we were away and were super easy to communicate with. They also left our house spotless. I would definitely have them stay again!

Maca and Marcelo exceeded all my expectations when they cared for my house and cats for 6 weeks from 26 July to 11 September 2023. They communicated well and sent me regular photos and videos of the cats. They were very responsible and left very happy cats and a very clean house. I would highly recommend them as housesitters. They are lovely.

Maca and her partner are lovely sitters. My dog was chilled out and relaxed on my return and house was spotless. Loved the videos they sent me and I could just get on and enjoy my holiday overseas knowing my dog was happy and well cared for.
