Hi, we are a retired couple from the UK with family living in the Newlands area of Wellington. We visit every year - Covid years excepted - and adore New Zealand. We have always had animals in our lives, numerous cats, dogs, horses and rabbits and guinea pigs etc., over the years. We currently have a 13 month old GSD/Golden Retriever cross and a 14 year old thoroughbred gelding. We have house sat twice for a lady and her kitty in Johnsonville in 2019-2020, and she can be contacted to provide a reference. We have also house sat and cared for three kitties in Newlands in December 2023 - January 2024, and they too would be able to provide a reference. We are happy to care for cats, dogs and other small animals. We are very active and love walking, so exercising dogs would not be a problem.

Sue and Andy were great sitters. Nothing was an issue and they were always easy to communicate with whenever we asked about how the animals were going :) the house was left super clean and tidy! The animals were extremely happy to have met some new friends. We felt we could go on holiday without having to worry about anything, they made everything really stress free. They are both super friendly and easy going :) we have a lot of plants and came back to all of them being alive and well too! ... MORE
