We are an older ( wiser) retired but not tired,non smoking, housetrained,fit, capable, trustworthy,conscientious & honest couple who can offer hard earned life skills both practical and we use our common sense when whatever the situation is that arises while your home and animals are in our care.
We have been housesitting for a number of years and our assignments have taken us to Scotland, Cyprus, Singapore, Australia and several parts of the UK as well as here in New Zealand. We are comfortable looking after large acreage or small, doing lawns, gardens and maintaining swimming pools as well as the not so nice jobs of setting traps for various rodents ! Isolated areas or city areas do not phase us........We have cared for small camping grounds & homes that have holiday accommodation that they let out so we have to meet/greet & then clean ready for next clients.

We are vaccinated and had our booster shots.

We have belonged to the Trusted Housesitters site for several years and have several references available for your perusal and also a police check if you are interested. We are available to SKYPE or Facetime if you would like to meet/talk with us further.

No rating Bill and Raewyn are amazing house-sitters. If you have an opportunity to have this wonderful couple sit for your and or your pets, do not delay with your decision to book them.. Rusty simply adored Bill and Raewyn. He was spoiled beyond belief, and allowed to have his naps curled on their knees, bed, or wherever he fancied. Raewyn and Bill are a lovely couple who took the very best care of our home and two cats. Taking one of them to the vet on day one of their sit was no problem! Highly recommended.

It was wonderful having Raewyn and Bill look after our 2 fluffy cats for 14 nights, happily extended by a night at our request. It was like having family stay..where you can fully trust with confidence that they care for the animals and home as if it were their own. Mere words can't describe our appreciation to Raewyn & Bill for being such great 'stand in parents' for our kids. They did a superb job looking after them, catering to their every want. Their communication & photos were top notch. Our house was so well looked after & we arrived home to a home cooked bacon & egg pie. (incredible) We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay in our home also. Thank you both once again from the four of us. x

Raewyn and Bill were just wonderful. My cats were very well looked after. They even made an amusement frame for the kitten and he and the cats have a wonderful time with it. The house was left immaculate and the plants watered. I would be very happy to have Raewyn and Bill back and heartily endorse them . I am sure anybody who has them will be as delighted as I am with the care and love they obviously showered on my fur babies.

No rating Raewyn and Bill were booked for 2018 - this was postponed but we kept in touch until they came to cover a fortnight from 29/6/19 to 15/7/19. Our new, well grown kittens were thoroughly relaxed, no sulking when we returned and the house was exceptionally tidy, the sheets on the line, milk and bread ready for breakfast. What can more can I say - they are a delightful, competent couple, able to entertain themselves and adapt to new (slightly colder) surroundings.

Thank you so much. It was a pleasure to care for the cats & also be entertained by them as they played and both successfully & unsuccessfuly learned to hunt & bring home their successes! Nelson is such a lovely area to be-its a bonus of the sit.
